Can we really speed up a website?

|

Yes of course - we wouldn't go to the bother of creating this website if we couldn't!

The simple fact of the matter is that the majority of websites online today would benefit from a speed boost in some way, the amount we can speed a site up varies from one website to another but dont think that having a slow website is just a 'fact of life' or 'something you have to put up with'.

More and more importance is being put on website speed - Google has aleady added site speed to it's ranking calculations and Yahoo and Bing! include it too!

If your website is excessively slow to load then not only are you giving your visitors a bad experience but you are also damaging your position in the search engines.
